Question:
In islam is it permisible to male or female to colour die the hair? If not then what shall do if wife request to die his husband hair white to black? but die is haram. Is it true?
Answer:
According to Shariah, if a person’s hair has changed color and became gray or white for example, then he/she can dye ones hair in any color besides black, or in case of females besides such colors that are generally used as a fashion, for example red, yellow or orange to match up ones attire.
