Introduction

And The Disunity of Muslims

This is a list of Muslim countries along with their flags. It is very important to note however that none of these countries represent Islam in government, since the political system of Islam can only be established through a Khilifat state. The Khilifat state is purely governed by the Sharia law, which is the law of the Quran and the Sunnah. Khilifat represents the unity of the Muslims, no matter which part of the world one is from or what color or race, as long as they are Muslims they are citizens of the Khilifat. The Khilifat itself is a union of all the countries which are ruled by Muslims, the sole leader of the Muslims is known as the Khilifa, and governs the affair of all the Muslims all over the world. Unfortunately for us Muslims today, we are disunited and in disarray and neither have a Khilifa nor a Khilifat.

The Prophet of Allah, Mohammed said, "Listen! Many leaders will come after me. So, if anyone goes to them and sides with them in their falsehoods (non Islamic governments) and supports them in their oppression then he has no connection with me and I have nothing to do with him; he will not be able to make it to the pond al-kawthar (the Prophet's pond at which everyone will drink and become young and beautiful before entering into paradise). But he, who does not help them in their oppression and does not side with them in their falsehood, is with me and I am with him, and he will make it to al-kawthar to drink of its water. [Tirmizi, Nasa'i, Jama'al-fawa'id]

The importance of a Khilifat can not be ignored, especially in today's world where the Muslims are misrepresented and find no protection against invaders. The Prophet of Allah, Mohammed also said, "The khilifa is actually a shield for you, like a shield in a battle kept in front of you to protect you" [Bukhari & Muslim]
The dire state which the Muslims of the world are in today can only be understood by the following Hadith:
"He who gives up obedience to the Islamic Government (Khilifat) and separates from the Muslim Community dies the death of the days of ignorance."
[Muslim, Nasa'i & Jama'al-fawa'id]

Today we live in those days of ignorance, without a leader, nor an Islamic state, who is to blame?
The Prophet Mohammed
said, "Your leaders will represent what the majority of you have become." [Bukhari]
So once again we need to ask who is to blame? It is ourselves, because we have become weak in our deen and we do not stand up to our leaders and call for Muslim unity. A lot of people argue that the Prophet said not to rebel against the leader, that is true but only under certain circumstances, the Prophet Mohammed said,"
"Listen and obey your rulers as long as he goes by the Book of Allah (sharia)"
[Bukhari]
So it is our duty in today's world to rise up and call to our leaders for reform and for the formation of a Khilifat. Excuses are by the millions under the sun, how long will we continue making excuses for not standing up for our rights? Look at all the nations below with majority Muslim population and Muslim leadership. Would it not be an amazing super power if the Muslims were united? May Allah take us out of the days of ignorance and unite us, ameen.

In the countries listed below you can see the flags of the most important Muslim countries in the world. The countries in this list are counted by majority of the population (i.e. more than 50%) who follow the Muslim belief. Remarkable in this criterion is the exclusion of India, the country that has nowadays the second biggest Muslim population in the world and of China, which has an unknown and unregistered large number of Muslim followers.

Al-Quran, Chapter 50 Qaf, Verse 13

In the Name of Allah, The Benevolent, The Merciful

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other. Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

The Sharia' Law

The Shari`ah (Islamic law) is derived only from the Qu'ran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed . Like the Qu'ran, the Sunnah is inspired by revelation from Allah . Islamic law covers all aspects of life. It deals with how to worship Allah and how to deal with others. Allah commands the believers to do certain things and bans them from doing others. Allah alone, The All Knowing, The Just, has the right to make some things lawful and other things sinful and forbidden. An Islamic society can legislate any laws for the improvement of life (e.g., traffic laws) as long as they are not in contradiction to Islamic law. Allah , The Guide and The Director, encourages some things without commanding them and discourages some behaviors without prohibiting them outright. All of these injunctions, taken together, form the law of Islam. When we add the fact that there are issues that Islamic law considers simply permissible, this makes five basic rulings for every human action:

Obligatory.
Encouraged.
Permitted.
Discouraged.
Forbidden.

Islamic law is of divine origin. The reason we obey these laws is because Allah commands us to do so. We are encouraged to understand the wisdom behind the law, yet we are expected to obey even when we do not fully understand the reasons why. Understanding is an added gift. For example, eating pork is forbidden because Allah said so. We refrain from eating it for that reason, and not because we also happen to know scientifically that it contains unique diseases and is the least healthy meat. Even if scientists were able to genetically breed pigs to be a disease-free and most nutritious food, it would still be forbidden to eat pork. (However, someone may eat pork to save his or her life if there are no other options left, and there would be no sin in doing so.)

The sources of Islamic law are the Qu'ran and Sunnah. Allah considers it polytheism to allow a religious leader to change Allah’s command by making lawful what Allah has made forbidden, or by making forbidden what Allah has made lawful. In this world, Allah alone determines what is good and what is sinful. In the Hereafter, Allah alone has the power and wisdom to reward those who do good and punish those who do evil.
