Introduction

Orbits of celestial bodies
It has become common knowledge now that all the planets, moons, suns, comets and other celestial bodies in the universe each has its own orbit. However this was a fact which was unknown 1500 years ago. Scientists in those days were presenting models of the Earth being flat that is how backwards humanity was in knowledge in those days. Yet in the Quran it is stated:

Al-Quran, Chapter 36 Ya-Sin, Verse 40

In the Name of Allah, The Benevolent, The Merciful

It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon nor can the Night outstrip the Day: each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law).

And Also

Al-Quran, Chapter 21 Al-Anbiyaa, Verse 33

In the Name of Allah, The Benevolent, The Merciful

It is He Who created the Night and the Day and the sun and the moon: all the celestial bodies swim along each in its rounded course.

The Quran described the orbits in perfection! None of the orbits of the planets, moons, suns or comets are perfectly round but are in fact 'rounded', slightly elongated at the sides. How could this information have been in the Quran with such accuracy when it took science 1000's of years to establish this!
All celestial bodies—including planets, satellites of these planets, stars and even galaxies—have their own orbits that have been determined with very delicate computations. The One Who established this perfect order and maintains it is Allah, Who created the entire universe. Yet another proof!
