Pharos Preserved
Al-Quran, Chapter 10 Ibrahim, Verse 90-92

In the Name of Allah, The Benevolent, The Merciful

We took the Children of Israel across the sea: Pharaoh and his hosts followed them in insolence and spite. At length when overwhelmed with the flood he said: "I believe that there is no god except Him Whom the Children of Israel believe in: I am of those who submit (to Allah in Islam)."
(It was said to him): "Ah now! but a little while before wast thou in rebellion! and thou didst mischief (and violence)!
"This day shall We save thee in thy body that thou mayest be a Sign to those who come after thee! But verily many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!"

It is a well known fact that the body of Pharos are displayed in Museums around the world as an example for mankind to see. Yet this was not the case until the bodies were actually discovered! For many years the non-Muslims used to make fun of the Muslims saying "where are these bodies of Pharos the Quran speaks about?" Then later in the 1800's the Pyramids were excavated by many anthropologists, the bodies dug up and displayed in museums around the globe! Examples for mankind to see, just as the Quran states! On display in the Royal Mummies Chamber of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo is a mummified body believed to be that of the very Pharos being referred to in the verse of the Quran. In all likelihood, Pharaoh's body floated to shore after being drowned, was found and mummified by the Egyptians, and then carried to a previously prepared burial chamber.
